The course merges of courses Individual rescue and Group rescue with extended control and techniques on a canoe. The course is accredited at Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports under no. čj. 19 034/2005-25-154.

1. Introduction- enter exam, historical and new activity on turist rivers, hydrology, basic psychological aspects of rescue, required knowledge of group leader, gear and equipment
2. Advanced control of canoe, low foot bridges, narrow brooks
3. Rescue and self rescue - swimming in the river, priorities and rescue techniques, rescue throw bag
4. First aid
5. Group paddling - psychology of group, potential hazards in groups, equipment, preparation, select of rivers, plans, organisation, communication
6. Final exam - first aid, hydrology, paddling on unknow part of river, group rescue, rescue equipment, critical situation.

• Course duration: 4 days course in time 40 hours
• Locality: theoretical part - in Nové Město nad Metují (CZE), practicle part - on river Metuje and Úpa
• Equipment: paddle shoes, neoprene long join, paddle cag and teddy, buoyancy Aids with harness belt with quick release buckle, paddle helmet.
• Recommended equipment: You can use your own boat or you can use our plastic or inflatable canoe.

- the price includes services of czech training managers, a rent of common paddling materials, classroom, training, transport of boats and persons to rivers, place for own tent.

1. control and organize group of boats up to WW I.
2. organize paddling camp for older children
3. prevention from hazardous situations and their solution
4. better knowledge about canoe control
5. rules for paddling in group
6. practical emergency situation handling, help on weirs, self-rescue and rescue another
7. control of rescue equipments
8. give first aid in open air.

The emphasis will be on gaining practical knowledge.

1. swimming ability (swim 200m without pause and 10m under water).
2. Basic control of raft.
3. Experience of having paddled at least 50km parts of rivers with WW I (or higher) difficulty within last 2 years
4. Medical checkup.
5. Age above 15 years
